Designer Spotlight:Interior Designer, Ms. Shelia Bridges
I recently have been searching for some creative inspiration. All morning I just could not find it, and then I came upon designer shelia bridges and was so happy. Here are a few pics c/o SHELIA BRIDGES.COM enjoy, I admire her attention to clean detail and space, with always adding hints of individuality with who she works with. My favorite piece is a frabric swatch from her collection of textiles and wallpapers. If you look closely the art mirrors Harlem, and tributes the African American experience. I feel an homage to the slaves, and advancement of freedom. Now that is Inspiration. Simply Beautiful and completely T&C Chic

Designer Highlight-Threads for Thought
There are so many ways to celebrate fashion and style and just consume until your full. That is so NOT T&C Chic. Therefore I am driven to support and shine light on sustainable fashion and creativity: Here is a lovely line to acknowledge and love, found at stores around the US, including Whole Foods, Anthropologie, Bloomies...etc... my favorite place in the world. lol...
About Threads For Thought
Style is an attitude; it is more than what we wear.
At Threads for Thought we use sustainable fabrics such as organic cotton and polyester recycled from plastic water bottles to create clothing that is comfortable, beautiful, and socially conscious; then we donate a portion of our proceeds to charity. What we wear is as important as what our clothes are made of, and where and how they are put together. C/O Threadsforthought.com

Oh...look at this!
Inspired by my upcoming novel GROUNDSWELL, I collaborated with Stila Cosmetics to create the “Stunning in Sayulita” travel palette. The bohemian beach community of Sayulita, located on the Pacific coast of Mexico, is the site of much of the action in GROUNDSWELL, and I spent a month there while writing and researching the book. I fell in love with this sleepy little town, with its street-side taco stands, surfing, and laid-back atmosphere. The “Stunning in Sayulita” palette has four eye shadows, a blush, and highlighter, plus a mirror, directions on how to apply the make-up, and an inspirational quote from yours truly. The colors are sure to enhance a summer glow, plus its convenient size makes it perfect to carry in a small purse. Check out my interactive palette here, complete with travel tips for a vacation in Sayulita. Enjoy! from Katieleehome.com
Personally this is the best collection of make-up for the moment. I wear the Pretty in Paris Collection, and I love it! It's so easy and its environmentally perfect. There are not a whole buncha containers, bottles, and crap to put on, spill, and clean up after. So its pretty simple, and the make-up goes on so well, very lasting! I heart the fact that Katie Lee worked with them to create this collection, and I feel that the colors are just right for summer, its a must try. So this is now on my offical list of gotta enjoy items.
